Update #2!

Everyone,

I spoke to the guys last night. They have had two hard days of paddling in a row. On Tue they paddled 35 miles with head winds most of the day. They said crossing the Hobe Sound (about the size of the Currituck Sound) was extremely difficult and then at the end of the day they had to pull the kayaks up and over a sand dune to get to Garry and the van. Wednesday they paddled 33 miles again with strong head winds. They said they are seeing some wonderful sites, though, sting rays jumping, sea turtles and beautiful blue water when they are near the inlets which are close to the Gulf Stream. Local 1377 fed them well last night and they are doing 30 miles today, before finishing in Wabasso, Fl.
